1998

Introduced

HNS Burnaby Store Open

In 1998, the birth of the first large-scale Korean mart in the western region of Canada announced the beginning of the new Korean town. Located in the heart of Burnaby/Coquitlam, the area primarily inhabited by Koreans, it has become a vibrant hub with over 200 Korean businesses densely concentrated. Undoubtedly, it has established itself as the core market of the Korean town in the western region of Canada.

2003

HNS Surrey Store Open

Located in the heart of Guildford, a burgeoning city in Surrey since 2003. Initiated services catering to a larger Asian clientele - including China, the Philippines, Vietnam, India, and more.

2018

Expanded

HNS Robson Store Open

Opened in 2018 in the West End area of downtown Vancouver. Established services targeting not only Koreans and Asians but also a comprehensive range of local residents.

2019

HNS Langley Open

Opened to meet the growing demand in the rapidly expanding Langley area. Providing services to cater not only to Koreans and Asians but also to traditional local residents.

HNS Today

Operating a total of four stores within Metro Vancouver, serving over 3,500 customers daily. Offering a comprehensive range of services related to Korean lifestyle, including household appliances, and providing over 11,000 different products. Firmly establishing themselves as a specialized store for Korean food and lifestyle products. Furthermore, they are striving to enhance customer service by adding two more stores within Metro Vancouver by 2024, aiming to provide an even closer service to customers.
